Happy Monday All...
So this weekend, Saturday I decided to relax and enjoy some "me" time. While my daughter is away and it was a beautiful day I ordered "The social network" on demand. I started laughing while watching the movie because it reminds me of and assignment we had to do in our MEIT 510 class. When I watched the last version of Triumph of the Nerds I thought it was interesting to find out that people that artist were stealing ideas. That's the same thing that happened here in The Social Network. They said that Mark from facebook stole some guys ideas from school. I just think that's crazy how people say it's stealing. What he did was take their idea but made it better and added a lot more to it. They called Mark the next Bill Gates and he's the youngest billionaire. I believe he's the next Bill Gates.
I just thought that was interesting to me.
Though it is obvious once you mentioned it, I never really considered the correlation between the idea "sharing" with Facebook and Microsoft. I don't know if it is coincidence or speaks to some greater truth about innovation. Interesting indeed.
